Monte Collins

Monte is the President & CEO of Impact Insurance Restoration. Prior to beginning his career in the Insurance Restoration Industry in 2008, he spent 15 years in the Insurance Claims Industry in various positions from Regional Large Loss Property Claims Representative to a Home Office Property Claims Operation Manager. It is this unique background that he brings to the Insurance Restoration Industry that most clients including Claims personnel, Agents and Insured’s, find beneficial.

Monte is a graduate of Indiana State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree with a Marketing emphasis.

When he is not working, Monte enjoys spending time with his Wife and Son, coaching baseball, watching baseball, travelling and socializing with friends.

Monte’s professional designations include the following:

  • Certified Restorer (CR) – Advanced certification awarded through Restoration Industry Association and widely accepted and regarded as the pre-eminent certification in the Industry, with emphasis on damage repair and raising committed restorers to a higher level of professional ability and code of conduct.
  • Commercial Drying Specialist (CDS) – Advanced certification awarded through IICRC with emphasis on Water Mitigation involving Commercial, Industrial, Institutional and complex Residential structures.
  • Applied Microbial Remediation (AMRT) – Advance certification awarded through IICRC with emphasis on Mold and Contaminate Remediation and Employee Health and Safety.
  • Applied Structural Drying (ASD) – Awarded through IICRC with emphasis on Water Mitigation and Industry leading techniques.
  • Senior Claims Law Associate (SCLA) – Advanced certification awarded through American Educational Institute with emphasis comprehensive Insurance Claims Law and it’s legal principles.
  • Associate in Claims (AIC) – Awarded through the Insurance Institute of America with emphasis on Technical and Good Faith Claim Handling and in-depth Policy Knowledge.

Steve Zaichek

Steve serves as Vice President and Estimator/Project Manager at Impact Insurance Restoration. Prior to beginning his career in the Insurance Restoration Industry, Steve spent 11 years in the Insurance Claims Industry handling Property Claims involving Commercial and Residential exposures.

Steve is a graduate of Ball State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree with a Criminal Justice / Sociology emphasis. When he is not working, Steve enjoys spending time with his Wife, Son and Daughter, coaching baseball and basketball, boating, travelling and socializing with friends.

Steve’s professional designations include the following:

  • Applied Structural Drying (ASD) – Awarded through IICRC with emphasis on Water Mitigation and Industry leading techniques.
  • Water Restoration Technical (WRT) – Awarded through IICRC with emphasis on Water Mitigation.
  • Associate in Claims (AIC) – Awarded through the Insurance Institute of America with emphasis on Technical and Good Faith Claim Handling and in-depth Policy Knowledge.
